You’ve been carrying so much.
The noise, the demands, the “shoulds.” It’s no wonder you feel stretched thin... even your rest may not be feeling restful.
What if, for just one weekend, you gave yourself full permission to unplug from the swirl... and root yourself in stillness, simplicity, and nature’s quiet medicine?
This isn’t an escape. It’s a return.
Nestled in 100 beautiful acres of Bristle Ridge Sanctuary in the Bellefontaine area (Zanesfield) in Central Ohio, you can experience a peaceful respite and replenishing oasis of forests, streams, and sky.
Join us Friday, Sept. 26 at 7pm through Sunday Sept. 28th, 2025 at 11am.Â
Yes, Please!Centering sessions
Through gentle movement, guided practices, and the support of a compassionate community, these centering sessions will help you return to yourself. Each session is designed to deepen your connection with both your inner landscape and the natural world around you, offering clarity, calm, and renewed energy to carry into your everyday life.

Nature-based mindfulness practices
You'll be immersed in beautiful nature. In addition, you'll have the option of taking solo hikes, engaging in group forest bathing experiences, and taking part in nature-based meditations to ground, center, and replenish your energy.Â

Open space for quiet connection with yourself, others, & nature
Bristle Ridge Sanctuary offers beautiful yurts, a tiny house, and tents for space to rest and reconnect with yourself.Â
Each yurt includes all the comforts of a cabin - cozy beds, a couch, heat, electricity, and a beautiful round roof with a glass dome overhead for stargazing.
Outside, you’ll find a firepit, a private clearing, and nothing but woods and sky.

Meet the  Retreat In Nature FacilitatorsÂ

Hi! I'm Elizabeth Mintun
I am a psychotherapist and mindful life coach. I've helped hundreds of people shift from feeling depleted and overwhelmed to living with greater confidence, energy, and inspiration.Â
I know firsthand the power of reflection and self-care in creating a more fulfilling and balanced life. Through my many years of work with people in psychotherapy, as well as coaching, I have found that the most life-changing results can come from reflection, retreat, and connection in nature.Â
Sometimes we need to get away from our daily life and responsibilities in order to truly find the rest and replenishment we need. This can be even more powerful within a compassionate and intentional community.Â
You might be surprised how much you'll be replenished from one weekend way AND how much these your new energy nd insights can enhance your daily life.Â
Grounded Renewal Retreat FacilitatorsÂ

Hi! I'm Ami PeacockÂ
I am a licensed social worker and have worked in schools, non-profits, hospitals, and churches doing community outreach programs in the U.S. and other countries.Â
I love finding ways for people to connect with themselves and with each other.
I have been practicing mindfulness and yoga for over 30 years. I've been attending retreats since I was in high school. Retreats have always been a place for me to reset. To feel my feet on the ground. To remember who I am.Â
Health and wellness have been instrumental in my life. Mind, body, and Spirit connection has kept me grounded. I have given various workshops on self-care and compassion fatigue. It is critical to care for ourselves in order to care for others.Â
I hope you will join us and find a space to BE. To be still. To rest. To connect with yourself, with the earth, and with others.Â

Jamie Morely

Saturday | 3:00 – 4:30pm
Experience the unique wisdom of equines as partners in personal growth. Through gentle interaction and guided reflection, this session offers insight, grounding, and a deeper connection to yourself and the natural world.
You can find Jamie out hiking in the woods or at the barn with the donkeys. She is at her best brainstorming new ideas, making friends or creating something beautiful. She has a natural instinct to notice the goodness all around.
Her greatest desire is to help people get in touch with their true self. She feels this is an organic process best done in the company of the natural world.
Jamie is the founder of Hope Anew, a Certified Life Coach and Equine Assisted Learning Practitioner.
